Featured Artist Willow Campbell
Willow Campbell is a 23 year old emerging writer and cartoonist from Kent, Ohio. Through an early childhood spent in Waldorf/Steiner schools, they developed the practice of expression through drawing and watercolor painting. Willow is deeply inspired by the gothic vagueness of artists like Edward Gorey, Richard Stine, and Michael DeForge. As a non-binary person, their comics tend to focus on themes of identity, on what it means to interact with the world and what it takes to acknowledge one’s self. This exhibit will mark the first time their work will be on display during a Pride event. More samples of their work can be found online at the instagram account @paint.me.in.leather.
We are happy to be featuring Willow Campbell's collection of artwork titled "Vague Comics" until October 31, 2022. Come check out their wonderful collection at the shop during store hours.
